Patrick Idoko commiserates with Ohimini community over tragic truck accident
It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that Patrick Ojechema Idoko, a senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), extends heartfelt condolences to the people of Okete Oglewu in Ohimini Local Government Area and the families affected by the tragic truck accident that claimed the lives of no less than six individuals in the community.
“This devastating incident, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, January 17, 2025, has left us all in mourning.”
Losing loved ones, including family members and residents, under such tragic circumstances is a painful blow to the entire community.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families as well as those who sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
While we deeply mourn this loss, we urge the relevant authorities, including the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), to intensify efforts toward ensuring safer roads and preventing future occurrences of such tragedies.
It is also imperative that all drivers and vehicle owners ensure proper vehicle maintenance to avoid mechanical failures that could result in avoidable loss of lives.
As a community, let us remain united in these trying times, offering comfort to one another and assisting those who have been directly affected.
I assure you of my unwavering commitment to supporting efforts aimed at fostering safety and development in our dear Ohimini Local Government Area and beyond.
